Als Pufendorf-Gesellschaft haben wir uns der Aufklärung über das Geld- und Finanzsystem verschrieben, nicht der Verbreitung der Ideen Samuel Pufendorfs. Nichtsdestotrotz erlauben wir uns an dieser Stelle einen Hinweis auf dieses Buch, weil es hier explizit um die Herausbildung der Volkswirtschaftslehre geht. Weit vor Adam Smith - Pufendorf ist 1632 geboren - war schon bei Pufendorf eine politische Ökonomie zu finden, durch die Wirtschaft erklärt wurde.

This book discusses Samuel Pufendorf and his contributions to the development of the European Enlightenment and the emergence of economics as a social science. Born in 1632 in Saxony, Pufendorf wrote widely on natural law, ethics, jurisprudence, and political economy and was one of the most important figures in early-modern political thought.
